Can Mycobacterium avium complex affect the liver in a non-HIV person?

Patient has Mycrobacterium avium complex in the lungs and has experienced fatigue, intestinal issues and now the liver profit is very high.

Mycobacterium avium an atypical mycobacterial infection which can occur in the later stages of AIDS. It can also affect people who do not have AIDS. This doesn't seem to effect the liver but most likely does act like TB.
