Most  scientists believe that global warming is part of the natural cycles of warming and cooling that the planet goes through. There is debate as how many have occured.  I am sure that you are aware that at one time there were glaciers covering much of the upper part of what is now the US and all of Canada. What happened to these? Did we cause them to "shrink" and get smaller? These were a least a mile thick. How many humans were alive at that time? There is no way that we caused this. After much more time goes by, we will see even more melting and then a turn towards global cooling. These cycles have taken perhaps millions of years to complete. Perhaps we have added to the carbon output. But we had put out much more carbon not so very long ago. We have cleaned up this and no longer have the steel mills and coal buring in homes that we had 20-30 years ago. The melting has not slowed one bit.
