what is a biological process that adds caarbon dioxide to the atmostphere and how does it do this? Does aerobic resperation add carbon dioxide to the atmosphere?

Aerobic respiration requires oxygen and works through the citric acid cycle to perform beta oxidation or to use fatty acids as an energy source.  This process releases CO2 as a byproduct into the atmosphere.
