Freshwater biome is fresh water source with little or no salt concentration and used as animal habitat and for human survival. At least 1/5 of the earth water sources are freshwater biomes and they vary from lakes, rivers, streams, creeks, gutters, canals and puddles. A example of the trophic level: Algae,Tadpole, Dragonfly larvae,Trout and Heron.
