I had a laproscopic cholecystectomy and the surgeon had to clamp off my right hepatic artery to stop bleeding. I had 3 cystic arteries and there was some unexpected bleeding from the 2nd one during surgery because the surgeon said that it pulled off too close to the hepatic artery and could not be clamped.  He had to clamp the right hepatic artery to stop the bleeding.  My liver functions were elevated after surgery and I had more pain, nausea and vomiting than ususal but this is improving.
